If you
have a teen battling with the disease of addiction to
drugs and or alcohol, it is time to take a step to help.
Intervention is the process often done by one or many
people to help someone suffering from alcoholism and
or drug addictions. The term intervention is most often
used when the traumatic event involves addiction to
drugs and or alcohol, or other items. Intervention can
also refer to the act of using a technique within a
therapy session.
Addiction is often rationalized by denial. The addicted
teen will think that their problem is not serious or
that they can control it or stop it at any time. Usually
a teen does not realize that a problem exists. It’s
up to you the parent/guardian to observe any changes
in behavior in your teen and to seek help if you are
suspicious your teen is using drugs and or alcohol.
Intervention is the best way to get the proper aid
and guidance to your adolescent struggling with drug
and or alcohol addiction. Ninety-two percent of those
who go through an intervention proceed to treatment
and have the prospect to change their lives for the
better.
Inspirations' qualified Interventionist guides the
adolescent and family toward an understanding and recognition
of the destructive behaviors of the teen and subsequent
disruption of the family system.
